The assembly of Grain Bin’s is one of our favorite projects that first took off during the summer of 2014. As soon as the weather warmed up, we stocked up the camper, rounded up the crew and headed North! It was great to partner with Keith Kessel and Kessel Construction, helping the farmers north of Chinook Montana.
How its done!
The grain bins arrive in boxes, the steel pieces are sorted and organized, and assembly begins! Row by row the bin is put together, using a crane to lift the steel pieces to their proper place, and finally to move the bin to its permanent location. A foundation is formed and poured around the base of the bin, and construction is complete! From start to finish, each bin takes two days to complete!
